Tech safety features

Fatigue monitor ​

If signs of driver fatigue are detected, the system on the 500e will advise a coffee break with a visual and acoustic warning on the instrument panel.

Breaks for you

If any danger is detected, your Fiat 500e will automatically brake to avoid or mitigate the collision with the vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist in front - up to 130km/h speed.

Active lane assistance ​

It helps you prevent involuntary crossing over the road lines, keeping you on track with an active action on the steering wheel and protecting yourself and others from dangers.

Cruise Control

Take control of your speed and enjoy relaxed journeys. Simply set your desired pace and the Fiat 500e will maintain it throughout your journey. 

Keyless Entry

Don't take your keys out of your pocket. With the proximity sensor, your 500e will recognize you as you are approaching or moving away from it, opening or closing it safely.

TWILIGHT AND RAIN SENSORS

The twilight sensor detects the daylight level and automatically turns on the headlights when it starts to get dark. If it rains, the sensors automatically activate the windshield wipers.

The redesigned electric door handle with its e-latch system is more minimalist in style and simpler to open compared to any previous 500. Simply press the soft button on the inside to unlock the car and step comfortably inside.

The LED side arrows and the LED headlamps were inspired by the essential style of the ‘57 Fiat 500. A heritage detail that tributes the same spirit that inspired our yesterday and leads our tomorrow. ​
